Assignment 5

For assignment 5 I choose to write about an assignment when I was going to solve a problem. I thought it was an interesting and fun assignment where I could write about anything I wanted to solve. It was a very free assignment, which I prefer.

When I constructed my assignment for a classmate I wanted to do a similar one. I wanted to provide a fun and a kind of free assignment where the writer should write about something they’re interested in. I think it turned out well and my peer wrote a very good and interesting assignment.

Overall I think the creating assignment part of this blog exercises was funniest. I really enjoyed reading other peoples assignments and I think many of them were really inspiring.

Assignment 4

I picked Frida Westerbergs assignment.

I choose to write about the first alternative.

The groups of pupils in schools are getting bigger and bigger. Why? It’s because of the bad economy in the municipalities all over Sweden. The financial crisis that hit the world for a couple of years ago made it difficult for all countries and companies in the world. The municipalities had to organize their money and it became an issue for the schools in Sweden. I think it’s time to reconsider how the money is organized and make some progress in the issues with too large groups of children. A teacher of pupils in the age of 6-12 years old is having a hard time to control the big groups in today’s schools. It’s difficult to give every pupil the attention they need every day and with groups of 25 or more, it’s impossible to give the attention to the single one of them.

I don’t think it’s just about the organization that’s relevant in the amount of pupils in classes. The municipalities need more money to hire teachers for schools and the problem is difficult to solve. It feels like it’s always about the money, without it nothing’s can’t be done. But when you got the money, everything is possible.

Assignment 2

Are you going to buy a new car? Do you think hybrid cars are just a thing that will disappear in a couple of years? Every year thousands of polar bears and penguins are dying in the Arctic zone and in a couple of years all of them are going to die if something not going to happen soon. Think about it. What can you do to make the world a better place?

Every day a lot of pollution is affecting our environment in a negative way. A lot of the pollution is coming from the factories all over the world, but what can you as an individual do about the problem? It’s time for us to make a difference in the world! It’s time to destroy all the old cars who’s running on ordinary fuel like diesel and gasoline. The time has come for the hybrid cars!

Our cars today are like “factories-on-roads” and this is not a good way to improve our environment issues. To make the big shots in the industrial business stop what they’re doing to our planet is just impossible. We have to take responsibility as human beings on our beautiful planet and become friendlier to the environment.

If every person in the world will start to drive a hybrid car instead of an old car in the near future, the global warming is going to stop. So, do a favor for the environment, people around you and yourself; buy a hybrid car!

So yeah, the Sabres are something like 0-17 in their history if they are tied 1-1 in a series and lose game 3. The league average is only about 66%, so for those who believe our franchise is not exceptional, there’s your evidence you hosers.

So, back to tonight…no pressure boys. Wait, what? Our best offensive player is out? Hmmm. Wait – Drew “A goal every 10 games means 8 for the season” Stafford is back? Sweet. What could go wrong?

I picked my formal text from www.britannica.com and the informal one from a blog about my favorite NHL-team. The difference between formal and informal writing is how you put your words together. Its important not to use abbrivated words in formal texts, meanwhile its more than ok to use it in a informal text.

Formal text:

A full grown hedgehog got about 7 000 quills. Every quill is normally 2-3 centimeters long. The hedgehogs use the quills to protect it from dangers. A hedgehog can live for about 10 years.

Informal text:

Yesterday, me and my girlfriend went for a walk in the park, when we noticed a small cute creature trying to get over the road. When we walked toward him, he protected himself from us. I guess he was afraid because we were so big compared to him.
